Byens Tak, located atop Folketeaterbygningen in Oslo, is a hybrid space combining an architecture office, cultural venue, and bar. As the communication strategist and creative director, I developed the concept, including naming, communication strategy, and visual identity together with a team from Natural State, Fuglen, Rodeo and Postpost.
Byens Tak operates as an architecture office by day and an open cultural arena by night, blending architecture and urban development with modern culture. Our challenge was to create a model that balances work and public use while honoring its legacy as a rooftop bar since the 1930s. In 2024, Byens Tak received the prestigious Arkitekturprisen.
