Teknobyen is a growing innovation hub in Trondheim, located between NTNU, SINTEF and St. Olav’s Hospital. Since 2021, I have led Natural State’s work on the communication strategy for its latest development, Teknostallen.

Teknobyen in Trondheim is an office complex comprising five buildings. As a hub for technological innovation and development, it hosts a variety of businesses, research institutions, and educational facilities. The final addition to the area, Teknostallen, is set to open in 2025, and will transform the place into a vibrant and multifaceted area. Plans for Teknostallen include a lively ground floor with restaurants, bars, and small shops, an indoor garden hosting year-round events, a rooftop terrace featuring a running track, and much more.

Owned and managed by KLP Eiendom Trondheim, Teknobyen currently employs 2,500 people, with this number expected to rise to 4,500 upon Teknostallen's completion. Since 2021, Natural State has collaborated closely with KLP Eiendom Trondheim, Skogen, and Pir2 Arkitekter, providing strategic guidance on the development and place identity for both Teknostallen and Teknobyen. As the creative director and communication specialist, my role in the project involves crafting the brand and communication strategy, in close partnership with Skogen Design, to shape a distinct and cohesive place identity for this evolving hub.
